Job Description:
Welder required in Utah CountyPRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
* Perform all welding activities
* Understand and operate equipment properly and safely
* Meet production requirements
* Understand and apply SPP and QA requirementsLANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Operate specialized equipment including mig, tig, plasma, sub arc, dual shield etc.
* Read/understand basic blueprints
* Use effective communication skills
* Follow written and verbal instructionsPHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. They are occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. They must also occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements for this position are close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
