Description:Perform daily A/P functions including receiving bills, confirming accuracy, coding, payables entry and payment"Full cycle accounts payable" meaning taking an invoice, entering them into the system, processing the payment, cutting the check, maintaining the vendor recordReview all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to paymentProcess 3 way match (Vendor Invoice, P.O., Receipt or Receiving Documents) to ensure all correct information before processing paymentPrioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment termsProcess check requests Audit and process credit card billsMatch invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly1099 maintenance (vendor tax form)Respond to all vendor inquiriesReconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepanciesAssist in month end closing, including journal entries and reconciliations related to accounts payableMaintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practicesTop Skills Details:Associates degree or comparable college credit with 2+ years related experience or simply experience in the field of A/PStrong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel About Aston Carter:Aston Carter is a distinguished global provider of recruitment and staffing services to companies requiring highly specialized business professionals.
