Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Utility Billing Specialist assists in the billing needs of both utility providers and resident billing. What this position entailsThis role is responsible for maintaining working relationships with our Utility Providers and Management Teams to ensure utilities function properly at all of our communities. Become an important liaison with our management teams to ensure that all utilities are paid in a timely manner, answer any utility inquiries, find and develop relationships with contractors to ensure best services within a community's budget and work with our Customer Care team to troubleshoot any utility concerns our residents may have.An ideal candidate would have previous experience in a utility billing role, be familiar with analyzing invoices, negotiate potential client/provider relationships and have strong customer service skills.
