Job Description:

Utah Transit Authority Job Summary Provides expertise to help develop and improve Finances current financial modeling, reporting, and dashboard process in order to drive productivity and cost reduction and enhance management-based insights. Masters degree preferred, and five to eight years of experience would be ideal. Minimum Qualifications

• Ideal candidate would have at least 5 to 8 years of experience in financial modeling and analysis
• At least 2 years of experience in a finance-oriented analytics role.
• An understanding of financial and budgeting procedures, methods, evaluation criteria and resource planning.
• Significant experience building complex financial reports in Excel, Power BI or similar platforms. EDUCATION/TRAINING: Bachelors degree in business, economics, information science or a related field is essential for this position. A masters degree, particularly in Finance or financial analytics, is an added advantage. EXPERIENCE :
  • Experience with analytical programming languages such as SQL, Python or R
  • Expert proficiency with O365 Applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and with ERP software (JDE or Oracle experience a plus). Ability to
    
    • Communicate and work effectively with others, both orally and in writing with an emphasis on communicating complex information to executive leadership and department managers and professionals.
    • Apply professional judgment in following standard and advanced business intelligence techniques and principles.
    • Perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under pressure of time-sensitive deadlines.
    • Understand and follow oral and/or written policies, procedures and instructions.
