Position Summary:This individual will take the lead role in the financial reporting process by ensuring accurate and timely reporting of various internal and external reports. General accounting and finance, data analytics and report preparation expertise is critical in this role. Having fun is also a critical component of this position! The controller must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Controller will work closely with the accounting staff, property managers, regional managers, and the CFO in managing day-to-day accounting and finance functions for multiple entities. This role will report to the CFO. The position is an in-office position, not work from home. Responsibilities:Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting functions.Hire, train, and retain accounting staff.Manage and oversee comprehensive general ledger reporting and reconciliations.Prepare, review, and submit monthly and quarterly reports to lending institutions.Knowledge of various accounting software and proficient with Excel.Monitor and report daily cash flow status and projections.Work with the CFO and executive team to improve the controls and processes to ensure accurate financial statements.Ensure timely and accurate closing process.Prepare consolidated financial statements.Prepare custom monthly reports for senior management.Project manage audit and tax.Review journal entries and monthly account reconciliation.Successful candidates will have the following experience/skills:3-5 years' experience in a professional accounting role; Self-starter comfortable with evolving roles and responsibilities.Financial accounting and tax experience desired.Strong data analytics.CPA designation a plus.Real estate background also a plus.Keller Management offers a very attractive benefit package for this job in addition to competitive pay:Medical, Dental and Vision401k with Employer MatchPaid Time Off and Paid Holidays100% Employer Paid Life Insurance, Short-term and Long-term DisabilityTuition Reimbursement ProgramEmployee Discount Program PI208388547
