WHAT YOU WILL DO

This position requires a high degree of confidentiality, as well as the ability to work under pressure and regular deadlines. You will be:


Preparing and posting entries to the general ledger and conducting other month-end functions
Preparing and making quarterly 941 tax returns, state tax returns, and making associated payments
Managing fixed assets
Handling inter-company transactions
Preparing and analyzing financial statements accurately
Handling reconciliations as requested
Helping us manage external audits and reviews
File quarterly 941 returns, state tax returns, and make associated payments
Constantly looking for ways to make our processes more efficient and accurate
Growing in your job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; and maintaining personal networks

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Qualifications


Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Proficiency in accounting ERP software is required; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a big plus
Extensive experience in preparing ledger entries and processing payments
Strong understanding of GAAP rules for leasing and intercompany accounting
Advanced Excel experience
Experience in conducting reconciliations
Experience in gathering data for reporting
In-depth knowledge of applicable tax laws
Experience in preparing tax reports
Excellent organizational and communication skills
