OPERATIONSOperations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.OUR IMPACTThe Clearing Business Intelligence (BI) team leads BI initiatives in close partnership with multiple Business Units (BU) within the Clearing Organization to implement high quality BI solutions in order to meet business goals. This role will partner with ETF & Equity Clearing Operations which provides operational support to a wide variety of internal and external clients, supporting creating & redeeming ETF shares as well as other global equity execution processing. The team is responsible for real-time risk management of executions, trade verification, query facilitation/resolution, reconciliations, position management, trade settlement & fails management. The team also has a significant role in client on-boarding, new product / market implementation, IT initiatives and process improvement through consultation and project management.The team is seeking a skilled professional who will provide business insights for data driven decisions. In this role, you will apply your quantitative, problem solving and client service skills to support the various business units and clients. You will also play a key role in suggesting and implementing process improvements for the team to mitigate risks and enhance the overall client experience. HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIALPrepare to gain a comprehensive understanding of the trade lifecycle by interacting with the business, middle office, and engineering teams in order to work toward a shared goalManage a team of developers using the Agile project management methodologyLeverage your innovative skills to identify ways to continually improve processesMitigate risk for the firm and our clients by securely delivering data to stakeholdersPartner with engineering teams to develop scalable business processes to support our clientsDevelopment of BI solutions using capabilities such as Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, and R/PythonManage prioritization and stakeholder engagement to maximize delivery towards established business goals.Basic QualificationsMinimum of 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence/Digital TransformationAnalytical, self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong problem solving skillsAbility to work within a high-risk environment and meet challenging deadlines and targetsAbility to communicate clearly with end users, development managers and other stakeholdersProficient in db query languages such as SQLProficient in Data Visualization with tools such as TableauProficient in prescriptive analytics using tools such as AlteryxExperience with using multi-dimensional data modeling/data warehousing for data analytics and reportingPreferred QualificationsGraduate or Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or EngineeringMinimum 3 years' experience supporting Equity productsExperience in gathering and documenting requirements with full testing traceabilityExperience in predictive analytics using tools such as Alteryx, Python, or RCreate and maintain ETL processes using a vast array of toolsABOUT GOLDMAN SACHSAt Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
