• immediate growthJob DetailsOur fast-growing engineering company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Controller to join our team. As an Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting functions of our manufacturing operations. This is a permanent position that offers competitive salary and benefits packages.Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the month-end close process, including reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and analyzing balance sheets.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage inventory and assist in WIP analysis and adjustment, including CIP.
  • Work with the International Accountant to ensure compliance with international accounting standards.
  • Oversee the use of accounting software, including Quickbooks and Dynamics 365.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • 3+ years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Quickbooks and Dynamics 365.
    • Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
