Job Description:

REH Company, the privately held parent company of Grand America Hotels and Resorts Inc., Little America Hotels Inc., SOGC Inc., and Sunlight Ranch Company, is looking for an Internal Auditor capable of performing a full range of audit tasks and special projects in diverse operational and functional areas across parent and subsidiary companies. This position will report to the Internal Audit Manager and work with employees at all levels of the company, from Accounting Clerks to Vice Presidents.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with external auditors and assist with annual financial statement and benefit plan audits
• Evaluate policies and procedures and test compliance
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure proper and timely financial reporting
• Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc.
• Investigate reported fraudulent activity
• Provide professional guidance to subsidiary company staff
• Assist with special projects
• Perform other duties as required by the Management and other C-Suite Executives Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 1-3 years professional experience
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and audit principles
  • CPA (or working towards a CPA license) is strongly preferred
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
      • Good at working independently and thinking critically
      • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines
        • High competency with accounting software, Microsoft Office, and databases
