What's the role?We're looking for a Media Manager, Affiliates & Partnerships to deliver Affiliates for a major finance brand and use this client work as a vehicle to define our Affiliates offering and understand how it fits into our wider strategic narrative.
Whilst experience and passion for Affiliate management will be crucial, we're looking for a self starter comfortable with the unknown - someone excited to build and scale an entirely new service and help shape how it bakes into our wider test & learn proposition.

    What this job is:
    • Strategic and Tactical - you will be responsible for delivering the Affiliate strategy for a major finance brand, collaborating with the Client VPs to feed it into the wider client strategy
    • Driving growth - Once the finance clients Affiliates strategy is setup, you will be responsible for selling in Affiliates to new and existing customers, working with the new business and client teams to craft strategies to meet our business partners
    • Innovative - as our proposition evolves you'll ensure our Affiliate evolves with it, identifying new opportunities to drive demand and results for our clients
    • Dynamic - we have clients putting their hands up for this service, and your priorities will adjust depending on where the greatest opportunity is. As we get this off the ground, expect every day to be different!
      What this job isn't:
      • Behind the scenes - You'll be talking to clients, prospects, other leaders within Brainlabs, and the industry as a whole via thought leadership. (We even have our own SEO conference, SearchLove!)
      • Box ticking - You'll be driving the Affiliates channel, setting and executing your own agenda and business plan and tracking value creation within the agency
        Give me a breakdown of what a Media Manager, Affiliates & Partnerships does:Client Management:
        • Maintaining and developing affiliate marketing programs
        • Recruiting new affiliate partners; negotiating and optimizing affiliate advertising agreements; developing and maintaining relationships with affiliates and partners;
        • Regularly monitoring campaign performance; compiling and submitting campaign performance reports;
        • Providing monthly invoices to affiliate partners; and handling the buying, renegotiation of rates, renewing or canceling media placementsNew Business Pitches:
          • Able to pitch Affiliates across multiple industries and client sizes, both by itself and in conjunction with other channels (with a proven track record of winning and retaining large SEO accounts)
          • Able to craft and refine compelling written responses to RFPs
          • Able to build a story that resonates with multiple levels of client knowledge
            What we really want:A passionate Affiliates expert who has deep subject expertise and who also has ambitions to build a product within an agency. Someone who wants to join an agency currently undergoing rapid growth and accelerate that growth even further - this isn't just about managing Affiliates it's about building your own strategy, being empowered and encouraged to set your own goals and work autonomously, while also collaborating with the rest of the agency team.
            What particular set of skills would suit this role?
            • Minimum 5 years of relevant Affiliates management digital including rate table management, preferred experience in finance and experience working at an affiliates agency
            • Familiarity with affiliate marketing networks, proven record in negotiation and management of online media campaigns; experience in campaign management
            • Excellent time management and project management skills; strong organizational, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills, and the ability to multitask, work under pressure and work well independently and in a team setting.
            • Proven track record of success, meeting client KPIs
            • Skilled written and verbal communicator with a demonstrated ability to present information in a clear and compelling manner
            • Experienced project manager with exceptional organizational and time management skills
            • Proven Microsoft Office and/or Google Business Apps skills, specifically Excel and Sheets
              How will I know I am doing it rightYou'll show growth and high satisfaction from our clients as well as winning new business (new clients and cross-sells). You'll have built strong relationships with the Client team across the Brainlabs organization.
