Position/Rank Department 00269 - Orthopedic Surgery Operations City Salt Lake City, UT Track New Position to Begin ASAP Details The Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Utah School of Medicine is seeking a new faculty member as a full-time in the tenure track faculty member based upon qualifications. This position requires the candidate to hold a doctoral degree in a life science, bioengineering, or a related area with specific postdoctoral training in chondrocyte biology and or tissue engineering. Primary responsibilities include establishing a research program focused on cartilage biology. The candidate is expected to provide scientific and research support a for ongoing Departmental research programs investigating cartilage injuries and for the Osteoarthritis Initiative Program investigating the genetic etiology and treatment of osteoarthritis.
