Description: We are looking for an energetic and tenacious Simulation Education Technician to join our team at Joyce University. With a preferred background in medical assisting or CNA, someone in this role will provide technical support for all simulation operations and recording devices and function as Standardized Patient (non-invasive procedures only) for students to learn the different aspects of nursing. • Life insurance ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Understand the use and operation of multiple simulation technologies
  • Serve as simulator (manikin) operator running pre-programmed scenarios with faculty instructors, assuring all equipment is set up for the course.
  • Support/assist in role playing applications (non-invasive standardized patient), equipment placement and moulage set-up.
  • Assist with prepping and set up of nursing skill and simulation labs.
  • Provide help to students in the medication room.
  • Provide technical assistance, support and training to faculty, instructors and staff in the use of simulation equipment, as necessary.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and conduct routine inventory updates. BEHAVIORS AND COMPETENCIES:

    • Continuous Improvement Requirements: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
      • Experience in a Health-related field is required
      • CNA or MA is preferred
      • Must be able to independently move equipment (less than 25 lbs.) and move manikins (more than 50 lbs.) with the assistance of others. REPORTING STRUCTURE:
