Description:We are looking for an energetic and tenacious
Simulation Education Technician to join our team at Joyce
University. With a preferred background in medical assisting or
CNA, someone in this role will provide technical support for all
simulation operations and recording devices and function as
Standardized Patient (non-invasive procedures only) for students to

FUNCTIONS:Understand the use and operation of multiple simulation
technologiesServe as simulator (manikin) operator running
pre-programmed scenarios with faculty instructors, assuring all
equipment is set up for the course.Support/assist in role playing
applications (non-invasive standardized patient), equipment
placement and moulage set-up.Assist with prepping and set up of
nursing skill and simulation labs.Provide help to students in the
medication room.Provide technical assistance, support and training
to faculty, instructors and staff in the use of simulation
equipment, as necessary.Maintain inventory of supplies and
equipment and conduct routine inventory updates.BEHAVIORS AND

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision,
distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception,
the ability to look at the computer screen for extended periods of
time, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to
communicate clearly and exchange accurate information through
speaking, hearing, and applying discernment.Work Environment: While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is typically
indoors but may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the
time. The noise level of the work environment is usually low to
moderate with some construction tools used by the employee or in
