This position will be located in Clearfield, UtahResponsibilities and duties to include but are not limited to:Be a self-starter, work without direct supervision.Integrate into a high tempo manufacturing environmentImplements and maintains smooth operation and physical design of databases.Conducts performance tuning of indexes and databases in general.Reviews database design and integration of systems, provides backup recovery and makes recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements.Formulates policies, procedures, and standards relating to database managementAble to work collaboratively in a team environment with other highly motivated system/network administrators, and mission planners.Basic Qualifications(Level 3)High school diploma + 10 years of relative experience in systems, coding, and database management ; OR Bachelor's Degree +6 years of relative experience in systems, coding, and database management; OR Masters Degree +4 years of relative experience in systems, coding, and database managementCandidate must be able to gain an active DoD Secret clearance (not required to start)Basic Qualifications(Level 4)Minimum of 10 years of relative experience in systems, coding, and database management ; Bachelor's Degree +6 years of relative experience in systems, coding, and database management; OR Masters Degree +4 years of relative experience in systems, coding, and database managementCandidate must be able to gain an active DoD Secret clearance (not required to start)Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience, current knowledge, and developed skills in data administration, especially in an Oracle environment, are highly desired and preferred.Oracle Certified Associated (OCA)/Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) CertificationWhat We Offer:At Northrop Grumman, we are on the cutting edge of innovation- building the next generation of sophisticated aircraft to protect our country.
