career today. - Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a
Systems Engineer / Principal Systems Engineer. This position is
located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. - This role
may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You'll
Get to Do: Launch Support System (LSS) is a team well positioned to
have a major impact on the Sentinel program and is staffed up with
many diverse disciplines to achieve our design goals. Our Team is
tasked with deploying a flight test specific product at multiple
locations across the US. LSS has a significant and valuable impact
on range safety and flight data management through the life of the
Sentinel program and coordinates with multiple other product
groups. LSS is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to build
Systems Engineering Architectures, Requirements and Test Plans for
a ground up system design and test program. Responsibilities
includes but not limited to:
- Produce Weapon System Architectures in Cameo
- Assess the LSS design against program requirements
- Prepare Test Plans and Requirements Verification Models
- Produce Test Procedures that efficiently verify System
Requirements and Test Objectives using procedure development
software such as Jazz and Microsoft Products
- Coordinate with Test Planning Team to compile and deliver
Government Deliverable Documents
- Troubleshoot System Issues on location as they arise with
assistance from design engineers
- Interface with software developers, design engineers, and
system test engineers in support of integration and test
activities
- Participate in technical exchange meetings, interfacing with
customers (internal/external)
- Perform data analysis against requirements and interfaces for
each software build or hardware componentBasic Qualifications: This
requisition may be filled at either the Systems Engineer level
(T-02) or Principal Systems Engineer level (T-03). Engineer
Systems: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2
years of experience, 0 years of experience with a Master's degree.
Principal Engineer Systems: Bachelor's degree in a Science,
Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an
accredited university and 5 years of experience, or 3 years of
experience with a Master's degree. Required for Both Levels:
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at
time of application, current and within scope, with an
investigation date within the last 6 years
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access
Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as
determined by the company to meet its business needs
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security
clearance
- 1 year of direct experience with requirements derivation or
verification development
- 1 year of direct experience with electrical, or software
product development
- 1 year of direct experience with DOORS Requirement Management
Database or Cameo Architecture Modeling SWPreferred Qualifications:
- Experience MBSE principles and practices
- Experience executing verification campaigns
- A strong understanding of Test Planning, Principles, and
Processes
- Previous Military, ICBM, or other Defense Program Experience is
a plus
- Experience with any of the following Systems: Electrical,
Electromechanical Control, Mechanical, Network, Cyber Defense,
Propulsion or other ICBM related fieldsPosition Benefits As a

#SentinelsystemsSalary Range: $77,200 - $115,800Salary Range 2:
$95,300 - $142,900The above salary range represents a general
guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors
when determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
