Job Description:

Kforce has a client that has multiple permanent/direct hire Principal Engineer/Architect openings in Charlotte, NC. These are influential positions within the client's organization and candidates will have the opportunity to communicate with high level executives. Remote flexibility is available for this role, but a candidate will need to sit near one of the local hubs in Charlotte, NC or Salt Lake, UT to come onsite for important meetings. Relocation packages are available to assist candidates that wish to move near one of the hubs. Compensation includes base, bonus, equity, and benefits. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required and 8+ years of related experience
• The Principal Engineers will be expected to have experience taking a monolithic legacy and transforming it into microservices
• Experience working with a product company that develops holistically while keeping the customer in mind is also needed
• The ideal candidate will need to be a SME in the areas of .NET Core or Java, cloud (Azure preferred), microservices architecture, event driven architecture, domain driven design, and API as a product
• Experienced, strategic technical thinker and leader who has experience leading & influencing major software transformation initiatives
• Key technical skills that align with a transformation mindset: Data Strategy, Microservices, APIs as a Product, and Agile
• Experience influencing teams as either an Architect, Software Engineer Tech Lead or Development Manager
• Technical Influencer with a collaborative mindset working across Product Management, Software Engineering, Architecture and Tech Ops
• Results and outcomes oriented, experience working on key strategic technical transformation initiatives
• Experience of building complex enterprise applications
• Deep understanding of all software development disciplines and recommended patterns
• Strong delivery record experienced in an Agile way or working
• Strong and advanced skills in .NET Core or Java, SQL, EDA, DDD, microservices, APIs, and Cloud (Azure preferred but not mandatory as long as there is proven significant depth in a similar technology set or subset of to make whole from an application perspective in a scalable enterprise environment)Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
