Space Systems is seeking a CAD CAM Engineer to join the Command and
Launch Team. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the
Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program.What You'll Get To
Do:The selected candidate will plan, lay out, draw, and revise
detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from
basic layouts, established references, and standard engineering
data. Candidate will apply basic knowledge of design and analysis
tools and employ the application of general standards, principals,
theories, concepts ,and techniques to perform professional tasks.
Candidate will utilize computer-aided design equipment and/or
graphic tools such as Siemens NX, CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD. Candidate
will also complete details of major layout drawings prepared by
others in accordance with standard engineering drafting
practices.Specific responsibilities include:---Determine
scaling---Insert necessary reference planes, centering and
dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and
sectioning---Prepare specifications for parts, assemblies, and
installations---Prepare complete production detail
drawings---Contribute design modifications to improve quality of
product or facilitate manufacturing operations. The selected
candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high
expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team
settings across all levels. Candidate must be able to collaborate

is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour
day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This
role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.Job
Qualifications:You'll Bring These Qualifications:---Bachelor's
degree with 2 years of experience (four additional years of
experience may be considered in lieu of degree); 0 years with
Master's Degree---Experience with CAD tools such as Siemens NX 3D,
ProEngineer Creo, or AutoCad.---Good written, verbal and
interpersonal communication skills---Ability to work independently
as well as in a team environment---Active DoD Secret clearance,
granted or re-investigated within last 6 yearsThese Qualifications
Would be Nice to Have:---Ability to model fully defined components
and assemblies efficiently using NX 3D.---Experience in planning,
drawing, and revising detailed part assembly and installation
engineering drawings.---Experience developing drawings to GD&T
standards---Experience with process/procedure development, control,
and improvement---Strong communication skills including technical
writing and verbal communication---Active DoD Top Secret
clearance
Salary Range: $64,600 USD - $97,000 USDEmployees may be eligible
for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses
are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including
