Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer.
This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the
Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may
offer a competitive relocation assistance package.What you'll get
to do:Candidate will have sound technical experience and
understanding of Production Processes for Assembly, Fabrication,
Planning & Tooling. For day-to-day tasks, must possess strong
organizational, communication, interpersonal, and PC computer
skills. Advanced understanding of tooling strategies for high-rate
production documentation, and document control. Possess a can-do
attitude and willingness to learn, advise and guide team members in
the challenging environment of a startup programSupports
production, business, and other processes in a team-based
manufacturing environment.Performs activities in a variety of
cross-functional areas including Manufacturing Readiness
Assessments, total quality management, manufacturing equipment,
facilities engineering, process reengineering and establish sector
business area procedural documentation.May facilitate self-directed
work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and
peers, and interact with internal and external customers with
respect to product tooling, problem resolution, and process

DiscountsThis position's standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The
9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday
through Thursday to take every other Friday off.You'll bring these
qualifications:STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
Bachelor's Degree with 14 years of experience OR Master's Degree
with 12 years of experience in medium to large scale tooling
fabrication and/or production fabrication including composites,
metallic, coatings application, and/or production manufacturing
operations.A current active DOD Secret clearance with an
investigation date/periodic review within the last 5 years, and the
ability to obtain a Program Special access within a reasonable
period as determined by the company to meet its business
needs.Experience reading and applying GD&T to a
blueprint.Experience working with/interfacing with 3D CAD e.g.
CATIA, NX, etc.Experience managing/coordinating technical projects
(Cost, schedule and technical performance).Must have experience in
an aerospace, military and/or production manufacturing.These
qualifications would be nice to have:Previous experience on high
rate production military program.Experience with Inter Continental
Ballistic Missiles (ICBM).Experience with CPLM (Common Product
LifeCycle Management) and Manufacturing Execution System
(MES).Knowledge of AS6500 requirements.5 years of experience in
Catia or NX, 5 years of experience using ASME Y 14.5 in a design
role.5 years of experience in Tool DesignAbility to communicate
with various levels of leadershipUnderstanding of Coordination of
design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with
customers, both internal and external.Ability to understand and
interpret program/project business needs and develop tooling
concept and manufacturing process specifications, plans and
processes that support those requirements.Salary Range: $122,500
USD - $183,700 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary
bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to
reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share
in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director
positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition,
