Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Industrial
Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support
the GBSD Ground Base Strategic Deterrent program. Learn more about

assistance package.What You'll Get To Do:Analyzes and designs
sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in
plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and
establishes methods for maximum utilization of production
facilities and personnel.May establish or assist in establishing
accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for
personnel concerning all phases of production operations.Conducts
studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory
control, and production record systems.On the basis of these
studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility
modifications and revisions to operating methods.May assist
facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.Part
of the responsibility can include factory and facility
layout.Engages and collaborates with programs and functional
organizations (from individual contributors to executive staff) to
obtain, understand, and interpret manufacturing facilitation and
scheduling requirements.Documents, tracks and monitors problems to
ensure a timely resolution.Manages multiple priorities and
self-starter.Presents (PowerPoint, speaking in front of upper
management, technical presentations vs overviews).As a full-time

position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule
allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday
to take every other Friday off.You'll Bring These
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience; 7 years
of experience with a Masters; 4 Years with PhD.Active DoD security
clearance with the ability to obtain Special Program Access (PAR)
within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to
meet its business need.Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel,
Project, and PowerPoint.Experience with manufacturing, scheduling,
and capacity analysis.These Qualifications Would be Nice to
Have:Experience with Systems Test and integration a plus.Possess
strong organizational, planning and decision-making skills and the
ability to work as a team member and with other members from
different technical backgrounds.Experience with cost management
(Earned Value, Milestone payments).Strong foundation in Industrial
Engineering fundamentals.Be proficient in the principles of
capacity (efficiencies, standards, constraints, etc).Have a
knowledge of manufacturing flows and how they interface with shop
floor and Global Supply Chain.Understanding of schedule waterfall
build with setbacks to independent demands.Experience with labor
standard development and work measurement."Salary Range: $122,500
USD - $183,700 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary
bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to
reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share
in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director
positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition,
