Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add a Quality Engineering Intern located in our Salt Lake City, Utah site.

Reporting to the Senior Quality Manager, the student will assist the Quality Team with projects impacting yields, performance and supporting Quality Systems, Suppliers, Auditing, Manufacturing, Mass Production and NPI.

What a typical day looks like:

• Involvement with different Quality areas (Supplier Quality, Material Review Board (MRB), Quality Systems, Manufacturing Quality Engineering, NPI (New Product Introduction)
• Analyze data and process flow procedures
• Research and create various reports as needed
• Collaborate with Engineering Teams to address Quality issues related to suppliers and products, auditing results and overall improvement of KPI's
• Attend team meetings and support project work as needed Student qualities we're seeking for this internship assignment:
  • Junior/Senior level student pursuing degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related major
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience with data analysis and process flow procedures
  • Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
  • Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
  • Previous internship experience in a manufacturing environment, a plus! Internship Program Requirements:
    • Available to start on May 30th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for a 10-12 week Summer assignment
    • Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
    • 3.0 minimum GPA
