Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Bus Rapid transit Engineer to be based in
Murray, UT
Position Details:
The Bus Rapid Transit Engineer and Task Manager is a key position
that will report into the US West Region Transit/Rail Engineering
Group
The position includes responsibility for business development,
management of transportation planning studies, preliminary design
studies and final design of linear transit infrastructure
projects.
The successful candidate may be asked to serve as an AECOM team
and/or discipline lead, deputy project manager and/or technical
task leader on selected projects and will coordinate, cooperate,
and work collaboratively with others team members.
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for
staff's specific area of expertise.
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality
cost effective work by others.
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project
deliverables.
Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical
efforts for projects.
Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of
PS&E package.
Performs quality control review of design calculations or
drawings.
Prepares technical specification sections.
Provides input to the development of engineering budget and
schedule to meet requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS + 6 Years of Experience or demonstrated equivalency of
experience and/or education
