Job Description:
DescriptionThe Physical Substation Electrical Engineer will be
responsible for the design and/or checking of general arrangements,
equipment plans, elevations, sections, control house layouts,
grounding design, lightning protection, lighting layouts, conduit
and cable design, bills of material, and cable schedules. Engineer
will be expected to perform their project activities to an
acceptable level of quality and according to project schedules.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited
program required. At least two years of physical electrical design
experience in substation demonstrating continuous growth and
knowledge expansion. Experience in leading design for substation
physical electrical projects including: Substation layout and
electrical design for voltages ranging from LV up to EHV
transmission level voltages, Scoping, engineering cost estimating,
and proposal support. The successful candidate must be eligible to
work in the United States.
