Job Description:

A Machine Learning/AI located in Salt Lake City, Utah is looking for a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer. This is a full-time, remote role.

The responsibilities included with this role include working with a team of engineers to migrate their on-prem platform to a cloud based platform. The three biggest focus points of this role are hands-on experience with bare-metal Hardware, experience in data centers, and experience with DevOps applications. If you have a focused DevOps Engineer mindset then this is the role for you!

Responsibilities

• Create and Support CI/CD pipelines using Github, Docker, AWS, and Kubernetes
• Manage and Support the company's on-premise compute infrastructure
• Manage and Optimize the company's system and networking infrastructure
• Actively look for improvement of the overall development and deployment workflow
  
  Requirements
  • 3+ years in relevant fields, preferably in grow-stage companies
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD systems
  • Familiarity with scripting languages including Bash, Python, etc.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure tools, such as AWS, GCP
  • Familiarity with Linux system, computer machine and networking fundamentals, including VPN, Firewalls, etc.
  • Experience building and shipping web-based and cloud-based products, using industry best practices for testing, automation, and CI/CD.
  • Experience with modern web services architectures
  • A self starter with proactive attitude
    
    Nice to Have
    • Experience in startups or high growth companies
    • Familiarity with python
