Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Mission Assurance Engineer
(Level 2 or 3) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
This position will be located in Clearfield, UT.As quality
engineering, we define and monitor mission assurance program
specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs.
We assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability and
maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and
suppliers are in accordance with contractual requirements. We
assess program performance and risks, and help to determine
resources to ensure contract compliance.Do you enjoy solving

following:Authoring documentation to instruct operations on
successful execution of quality requirementsManage and coordinate
non-conformance containment and corrective action implementation
activitiesLead data collection, analysis, and customer
interfaceWrite and manage risk mitigation actions and assuring
their implementationContribute to design change control reviews and
implementationSupport internal audits, process observations and
area assessmentsEstablish and maintain collaboration partnership
across functions and programs, customers, program management, and
other support organizationsOur team is exceptionally

Principal Engineer Mission Assurance depending on the
qualifications below.Basic Qualifications:Engineer:Bachelor's in
Science and 2 years of experience in Quality and/or Mission
Assurance work experience; Master's Degree and no years of
experience. Note: an additional 4 years of relevant work experience
may be considered in lieu of a degree.Working knowledge of
Inspection Plans, First Article Inspections and a RCCA
authority.Preferred Qualifications:Prior manufacturing experience
under a QMSAbility to read and interpret GD&T drawingsKnowledge
of Root Cause and Corrective Action methodsKnowledge of continuous
improvement principlesPrincipal Engineer:Bachelors in Science and 5
years of experience in Quality and/or Mission Assurance work
experience; Master's Degree and 3 years of experience in Quality
and/or Mission Assurance work experience; PhD. Note: an additional
4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a
degree.Expertise with Inspection Plans, First Article Inspections
and an RCCA authority.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience
managing elements of a QMSAbility to evaluate and make design
approval decisionsExpertise with continuous improvement
principlesBackground in CompositesSalary Range: $73,400 USD -
$110,000 USDSalary Range 2: $90,400 USD - $135,600 USDEmployees may
be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
