Grumman's Space Systems sector is looking for a Chief Engineer for
the ICBM Sustainment portfolio in our SDS Division. This leadership
role is located in Roy, Utah. Northrop Grumman supports the Air
Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of
hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic
Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch
Facilities and associated infrastructure.What You Will Get to Do:Be
the Chief Engineer for the ICBM Sustainment portfolio of programs,
reporting to the Vice President of Engineering & Manufacturing for
the SDS Division. Responsibilities include technical leadership
by:Managing the ICBM Sustainment technical baseline for entire
portfolioDriving technical execution in support of major program
eventsCollaborating within and across the Division SDS program
portfolio to deliver exceptional customer valueFocusing
horizontally on resolving high-level Systems challengesEnsuring
execution of overall technical plan within the Integrated Master
ScheduleSupporting strategic SDS Division initiatives on tools,
processes, and cross-segment technical reviewsDriving technical
rigor into technical interchange meetings with ICBM Sustainment
partnersUtilizing Model-Based Engineering to deliver a highly
sustainable Weapon SystemAdvising ICBM Sustainment program office

schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a
nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday

package.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a Science,
Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) disciplineA minimum
20 years of progressive engineering experience with a Bachelor's
degree; 18 with a Master's; or 15 years with a PhDMinimum of 5
years of experience formally leading engineering teams/and or
organizations to achieve a common goal.Active DoD Secret
clearanceICBM or complex aerospace systems experiencePreferred
Qualifications:Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems
Engineering (MBSE) experienceKnowledge of Specialty Engineering
disciplines such as Hardness, PMP, Nuclear Surety/Safety, System
Safety, Configuration Management, Corrosion Engineering,
Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Test and Evaluation, and
Electromagnetic EffectsDesign Engineering/Computer-aided Design
(CAD) experience and engineering releases utilizing Product
Lifecycle Management toolsPrior experience interfacing with prime
contractor site leads and USAF leadership personnelActive DoD
TS/SCI clearanceExperience leading the performance of tasks on
schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project
lead or integrated program teamDemonstrated effectiveness in
achieving results through managing people and understanding and
management of internal processes and customer/supplier
relationships.Strong understanding and broad application of complex
engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration
management, material review board, process control, tooling,
facilities, software, etc.)Strong oral and written communication
skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer
presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with
competing prioritiesExperience in working closely with customers to
ensure delivery of systems that meet warfighter needsAbility to
collaborate and achieve consensus when dealing with groups from
diverse organizations and backgroundsDemonstrated experience in
making sound decisions in uncertain and difficult situationsStrong
sense of urgency and work ethic in ensuring engineering meets
customer and program expectations in a timely and efficient
mannerSalary Range: $171,400 USD - $257,000 USDEmployees may be
eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual
bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as
allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice
President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
