Engineer Test to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
This position will be located in Clearfield, Utah.You will be a
part of an Inspection Development Group responsible for:Development
of advanced NDT inspection technologies and sensors including laser
ultrasound, phased array ultrasound, air coupled ultrasonic, THz
and GHz, thermography, shearography, digital x-ray and computer
aided data analysisDesign, fabrication, installation and testing of
automated inspection systems for internal useIntegration of
advanced NDT inspection technologies into automated systems and
their qualification for the productionNDT Support of production
programs during their whole life cycleWe support multiple prime
contractors for military and commercial programs. Our work protects

us!Responsibilities:Take responsibility for the overall inspection
processes and oversee, initiate, & implement actions to optimize
the processes to meet safety, quality, & production goalsBecome the
local expert on Automated Ultrasonic Inspection Systems (AUIS) and
intimately familiar with the mechanical, electrical, & software
components of the machines including the ultrasonic inspection
techniquesLead troubleshooting of existing AUIS systems; support
the modifications and upgrades of existing AUIS systems; assist
Maintenance Department as requiredMaintain configuration control on
system hardware & softwareSupport the startup of new system
including but not limited to:Coordination with Tooling Department
to acquire part support and other production support tooling as
neededQualification of the system as per program requirementsMotion
programmingInitial and periodic system performance verification
testingConduct root cause/corrective action investigations using
multiple tools; 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, 5D, etc., and implement
corrective action plans.Create and/or maintain required process and
system documentationWork with NDI Operations, Document Control &
Engineering to ensure that accurate work instructions and
requirements are available on the production floorOur team works in
a fast-paced work environment with high expectations and
significantly diverse assignments. We are comfortable both in a lab
environment and on the production floor, and we collaborate closely
with NDT technicians, test engineers and quality control engineers,
program and operation managers, and customers. We're a small group
and a close-knit team. Our work is highly dynamic and our
activities will vary from project to project. We are NDT
development team integrated within a top tier defense contractor.

swing shift with some off hours support for NDI Operations running
24/7. Travel is estimated to be less than 10% to support other
sites (Iuka, MS, and Dayton, OH) during system and process
qualification as required. We work a 9/80 schedule, which gives you
every other Friday to pursue passions outside of the office.Basic
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and 2+ years of
experience supporting automated electro-mechanical systems
(machining centers, inspection systems, robotic systems)U.S.
CitizenshipAbility to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance and
special program accessPreferred Qualifications:Active DoD Secret
clearance within 5 - years of last investigationAptitude for
working with electro-mechanical systems including robotic systems
(Kuka)Excellent troubleshooting skillsProficient in computers and
networkingProficient in Catia, ePIC, Solumina or similar
programsProficient in Word, Excel, MS Project and
PowerPoint.Experience with automated inspection systems and
composite NDI techniquesAbility & desire to learn new skills
outside of normal work duties, such as software diagnostics,
electro-mechanical systems, and ultrasonicsExperience in composites
aerospace industryExperience with running & troubleshooting LabVIEW

$64,600 USD - $97,000 USDEmployees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
