Structural Testing and Engineer to join our team of qualified,
diverse individuals. This position will be located in Clearfield,
UT.Our team works with experienced engineers, supporting
sophisticated structural analysis and testing of both composite and
metallic materials of aerospace structures. We engineer the latest
structures for military/commercial aircraft and launch structures,
and are leaders in next-generation structure development. Would you

team!Responsibilities:Conduct structural mechanical testing from
small scale coupons to large scale sub-componentsPerform structural
analysis including static, dynamics, buckling and fatigue
analysis.Build Finite Element Models (FEMs) using CAD geometry,
meshing, and running solutions using commercial software (Femap,
Abaqus, Nastran)Compute margins of safety to size parts using
structural analysis methodsConduct structural and material tests on
composite and metallic specimens/components to evaluate if parts
meet acceptance test criteriaDevelop, maintain, and execute test
plans for products ranging from components to sub-assemblies to
vehicle-level systems.Operate and/or support complex test facility
systems (e.g MTS and Instron machines) and help direct a team of
technicians to execute test processesAnalyze and review data to
ensure that hardware is operating as expected utilizing numerical
data analysis tools to interpret test resultsWrite test reports
that include test results and conclusions based on the data
collectedDirectly support testing, such as material preparation and
testing, testing using an Instron and other material testing
equipment, metallurgical lab sample cutting, mounting, polishing

qualifications below.Basic QualificationsStructural
EngineerBachelors degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering
or Math) and 2 years engineering work experience -OR- Masters in a
STEM field and 0 yearsFamiliarity with the design of experiments
(DOE), Robust Engineering, and statistical data analysis or process
controlExperience in structural and material testing and
characterizationPlanning of experiments and interpret/reduce data
collected from experimentsExperience building Finite Element Models
(FEM) using CAD geometry, meshing, and running solutions is a
plusAbility to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance & Special
Program AccessPrincipal EngineerBachelors degree in STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering or Math) and 5 years engineering work
experience -OR- Masters in a STEM field and 3 yearsFamiliarity with
the design of experiments (DOE), Robust Engineering, and
statistical data analysis or process controlExperience in
structural and material testing and characterizationPlanning of
experiments and interpret/reduce data collected from
experimentsExperience building Finite Element Models (FEM) using
CAD geometry, meshing, and running solutions is a plusAbility to
obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance & Special Program
AccessPreferred Qualifications:Active DoD Secret Security
ClearanceExperience with any of the following software packages:
Siemens NX, MATLAB, ANSYS, Abaqus CAE, Femap, NastranExperience
with scripting for software packages such as MATLAB and
PythonComposite structural Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
experienceKnowledge of composite materialsExperience in test
planning, test support, and data reductionSalary Range: $73,400 USD
- $110,000 USDSalary Range 2: $90,400 USD - $135,600 USDEmployees
may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
