Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Structural
Engineer to join our Analysis Engineering team of qualified,
diverse individuals. This position will be located in Clearfield,
UT.You will be a part of an Integrated Product Team primarily
supporting new product designs and production with both metallic
and composite structural analysis of primary airframe structure.
The projects within our scope offer opportunities for team
leadership, project management, and diverse technical assignments.

Utah!Responsibilities:Develop solutions to structural analysis
problems for aircraft platforms involving composite laminates,
metallics, sandwich structure, and large bonded and bolted
assembliesSupport trade study designs, new project initiatives,
airframe sizing, Independent Research & Development projects, and
structural testing activitiesSupport material review board (MRB)
activity for non-conforming parts and provide structural
recommendations to substantiate dispositionsPerform structural
analysis using classical methods, commercial tools, and in-house
codes for multidisciplinary technical problemsUnderstand the
methods of analyzing composite structure and overall requirements
for certificationBuild, analyze, and post-process Finite Element
Models (FEMs) using Femap, Simcenter NX, and NastranDocument
structural analysis methods, margins, and implementation in final
reports and propose new methods depending on the needs of the
projectBasic QualificationsPrincipal Engineer StructuralBachelor's
degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) and 5+
years engineering work experience -OR- Master's in a STEM field and
3+ years of engineering work experienceExperience in performing
static analysis and documentation of both composites and metallic
parts for primary aircraft structure with minimal
supervisionExperience using industry standard structural analysis
software such as NASTRAN, Femap, and NX Simcenter to mesh and
analyze complex partsExperience in writing technical reports and
presenting data in a clear and concise mannerAbility to obtain and
maintain a DOD Secret Clearance and Special Program AccessPreferred
Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master of Science degree in Aerospace,
Mechanical, or Civil EngineeringExperience with any of the
following software packages: Simcenter NX, AFGROW, Abaqus CAE,
Femap, NastranExperience with scripting new methods for structural
calculations using Python, MATLAB, or Visual BasicParticipation in
multiple design and analysis cycles for an aircraft development
programExperience with Metallic and Composite structural analysis
methods developmentExperience in structural test planning, analysis
support, and post-test data reductionExperience supporting MRB
non-conformance dispositionsActive DOD Secret Security

Range: $90,400 USD - $135,600 USDEmployees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are

employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
