Space Systems is seeking a Structural Engineer / Principal
Structural Engineer to join the System Engineering Team. This
position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Ground Based
Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Final grade level for position
will be based on selected candidate experience level.What You'll
Get To Do:The selected candidate will perform basic to advanced
structural analysis and support the development of damage tolerance
criteria across the program. Typical duties and responsibilities to
include:Perform structural analysis including static, dynamics, and
stability analysis.Create Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models and
perform systems and sub-systems structural analysis.Compute margins
using appropriate analysis methods.Review of requirements for
materials, structure systems & subsystems.Participate and present
in internal and external (customer) design reviews.Manage and track
multiple priorities while maintaining focus on common project

Qualifications:Engineer: Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM
(Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 2 years
of experience; 0 years with Master's DegreePrincipal Engineer:
Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering and Math) discipline and 5 years of experience; 3 years
with Master's Degree; 0 years with PhDExperience with Finite
Element Analysis toolsA current DoD Secret clearance granted or
re-investigated within last 6 years with ability to obtain Special
Program Access clearances.These Qualifications Would be Nice to
Have:Experience with any of the following software packages:
Siemens NX, ANSYS, Abaqus CAE, FEMAP, NastranExperience with either
of the following programs: AFGROW, NASGROExperience with metallic
and composite structures sizing.Experience working on Special
Access ProgramsParticipation in multiple design cycles in
spacecraft/aircraft development programs#GBSDmechanicalSalary
Range: $73,400 USD - $110,000 USDSalary Range 2: $90,400 USD -
$135,600 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
