Space Systems is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to join
the Command and Launch Team (CLT). This position is located in Roy,
UT and supports the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD)
program.What You'll Get To Do:The selected candidate will be
responsible for executing linear and nonlinear structural analysis
scope using ABAQUS and/or ANSYS tools. Responsibilities will
include executing analysis efforts to support Launch Equipment
design, development, production and deployment. This includes
finite element (static, transient, buckling, modal), fatigue,
random vibration, weld and bolted joint analyses. In addition, the
candidate will be supporting test objective development for model
validation and qualification. Candidate will generate analysis
documentation artifacts and prepare CDRL for customer deliveries.
The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused
environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and

Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 5 years of
experience; 3 years with Master's Degree; 0 years with
PhDExperience performing dynamic and static structural
analysisExperience working with ANSYS or ABAQUS toolProficient in
post-processing of analysis data using MATLAB, MathCAD, or
EXCELProficient writer and able to verbally communicate technical
contentMust be a US citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret
clearance and special program access clearanceThese Qualifications
Would be Nice to Have:Proficiency with ABAQUS, FEMAP, and ANSYS
toolsExposure to structural test applicationsExperience with
seismic analysis (ASCE 7)Exposure to missiles program requirements
& with propulsionAble to navigate through NX 3D models and
CPLMTeamCenter CPLM experienceActive DoD Secret clearance granted
or updated within past 6 years#GBSDmechanicalSalary Range: $90,400
USD - $135,600 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary
bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to
reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share
in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director
