Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a VoIP Engineer to join their team and contribute to our cloud transformation efforts. Summary: As a VoIP Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing fault-tolerant voice networks across multiple regions. This includes working with Session Border Controllers, Media Gateways, and other SIP-based products at a global scale. Your expertise in scalable cloud infrastructure solutions and knowledge of the latest cloud technologies will be instrumental in driving our success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• VoIP Engineer will provide input for the design, analysis, implementation, and troubleshooting of telecommunications systems, focusing on VoIP, SIP, Unified Communications, and Quality of Service (QoS)
• Manage and troubleshoot complex telecom network infrastructure issues
• Document and resolve issues, escalating them to stakeholders and IT management when necessary
• Monitor, maintain, and document all VoIP/TDM platforms
• Configure and administer Virtual SBC and CUBE
• Collaborate with telecom vendors to develop solutions that support our global footprint
• As a VoIP Engineer, you will promote infrastructure technology standards through automation and service-based development
• Monitor traffic usage for customers and proactively identify potential problems
• Perform other duties as assigned
