Job Description:

Presidio is hiring Remote DevSecOps Engineers (Contract)Responsibilities: Embed security practices seamlessly into the DevOps workflow.Implement and manage security tools, automation, and processes.Establish and maintain continuous security monitoring of systems and applications.Respond to and mitigate security incidents.Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for security-related processes.Integrate security testing into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.Conduct regular risk assessments and collaborate with stakeholders to address security vulnerabilities.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Participate in incident response activities, including investigations and remediation.Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and configurations.Suggest and discuss approaches on how to improve security posture within the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).Frequently act as a liaison between technical and non-technical groups. Requirements: At least 5 years of experience working in Operations, DevOps, Security, or Site Reliability Engineering.Strong knowledge of security best practices, standards, and frameworks.Familiarity with cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience managing infrastructure as code templates /scripts and work with DevSecOps tools (CICD, Code quality, security, and monitoring).Experience integrating security controls, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
