About the Job: We are currently looking to hire an Engineering
Managerbased inour Salt Lake City, Utah beverage manufacturing
facility. At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying
them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. In this
role, you will be a member of the plant leadership team and will be
responsible to lead the plant's engineering team and support all
strategic, operational and policy aspects of the Salt Lake City,
Utah plant in the areas of safety, quality, performance,
management, and organizational objectives. You will be the main
point of contact for all capital projects for the plant. In this
role, you will be responsible for: Leading and managing the
engineering department, ensuring the team is motivated, productive,
and delivering high-quality work. Actively working with Production
and Quality Assurance to resolve technical issues and to ensure
optimal operation. Drives innovation by identifying and
implementing new technologies, processes, and equipment to improve
quality, efficiency, and safety. Overseeing all capital projects
from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time
and within budget. Acts as Engineering liaison between the plant
management team and corporate leadership.
Reviews production, quality control, distribution and maintenance
reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to align with
leadership team to redirect project and capital activities, as
needed.
Coordinate and lead multi-functional teams.The base compensation
range for this position is $105,000 - $130,000 per year
commensurate with experience.About you ABOUT YOU:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field
Minimum five (5) years engineering experience required, preferably
in CPG beverage/food manufacturing, required.
Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing certification, and /or a PMP
certification is a plus. Experience managing capital projects,
CAPEX forecasting and payback calculations. Experience with
development of Call for Tender documents including, Technical
Specifications, Commercial Specifications and Standards Project
management experience and are proficient using MS Office programs,
MS Project, and AutoCAD, required. Extensive experience in
manufacturing and controls engineering. Proven experience in
managing and leading a team of engineers.
Exceptionally organized and self-disciplined to accommodate the
management of concurrent multiple projects. Highly self-directed
and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Understand the essential value of engaging and actively
communicating appropriate information to all levels involved with
and/or affected by the project. Excellent conflict resolution and
interpersonal skills. Knowledge on the following: Reading,
modifying, process flow and process instrumentation drawings.
Design, Calculation, Implementation and Start Up of CIP (Clean in
Place) Systems. Utility/facilities/building and grounds management
with large ammonia refrigeration systems. Commitment to maintaining
the highest standards of safety, quality and integrity.
