Description
Leidos has an opening for a highly qualified Cross Domain
Integration Engineer for the Multi-Domain Solutions Division. This
is an exciting opportunity to bring your experience to support
across all-domain large-scale weapon systems, Information
Technology Systems, and Command and Control Systems to realize the
Department of Defense Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2).
In this role you will support an Integrated Product Team (IPT) for
the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure
(DI) Processing Node (PN) to design and implement solutions that
can be delivered at speed, scale, and with the necessary security
to deliver operational advantages to the joint warfighter. ABMS is
a top modernization priority for the Department of the Air Force
and will be the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle
management in partnership with all the services across JADC2. This
position will work closely with Program Managers, other domain
engineers, and Government counterparts across Government and
Industry partners.
This position will allow for a flexible schedule, with some
telework allowed. Our preferred candidate will reside in
Alexandria, VA, but we may be able to consider other locations if
they are local to our sites in Richardson, Texas, Salt Lake City,
Utah, and Melbourne, FL.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead systems efforts to integrate cross-domain and communications
encryption technologies into US military data processing nodes.
Implement and configure cross-domain transfer devices (Diodes,
Guards), cross-domain access technologies (cross-domain remote
desktop brokers, cross-domain thick client VM streaming), and
remote desktop technologies and standards (RDP, PCoIP) to ensure
secure data transfer and access across domains.
Deploy and manage Type-1 encryptors, particularly TACLANE,
including key management, to safeguard sensitive information and
maintain compliance with encryption standards.
Integrate embedded communications encryption technologies,
specifically CSfC, to enhance data security and confidentiality
within military data processing nodes, ensuring adherence to
rigorous security protocols and standards.
Develop comprehensive integration plans and workflows, ensuring
adherence to project timelines and objectives while mitigating
potential risks and challenges.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to
continuously enhance integration capabilities.
Facilitate technical and programmatic information exchange in
support of Program Objectives
Participate in Working Groups and IPTs, informal and formal
technical interchanges, and formal reviews.
Additional responsibilities as needed by the program.
Basic Qualifications
BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with
6+ years of prior relevant experience.
8+ years systems integration experience
Deep familiarity with cross-domain and comms encryption
technologies
Prior experience integrating the following technologies into US
military data processing nodes:
Cross-Domain Transfer devices (Diodes, Guards)
Cross-Domain Access technologies (cross-domain remote desktop
brokers, cross-domain thick client VM streaming)
Remote desktop technologies and standards (RDP, PCoIP)
Type-1 encryptors, specifically TACLANE, including experience with
key management
Embedded communications encryption technologies, specifically
CSfC
US citizenship and an active Secret security clearance, with
ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Demonstrable knowledge of integration engineering concepts and
applying these concepts to Department of Defense (DoD)
programs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with
customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems
engineers in the development of complex DoD systems.
Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning,
coordination, and task execution situations involving the full
spectrum of system integration activities.
Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines
with varying degrees of technical experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using containerization / Kubernetes technologies to
integrate software into systems
Experience with Citrix SecureView technology
Experience with cloud and hybrid cloud technology
Experience with CI/CD automation pipelines (Fleet, Ansible)

Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline

knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity,
