My Ride to work is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our family in Salt Lake City, UT! Here, youll perform preventative maintenance and repairs of all levels on the best maintained fleet of vehicles in the industry. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, you will perform highly skilled preventative maintenance, diagnostic and repair work on motor coaches to minimize downtime and ensure a positive experience to our valued customers.At My Ride to Work, commitment to excellence is an essential quality for success as a Maintenance Mechanic. We are even offering a $5000 sign on bonus when you become a part of the team!Main Responsibilities:Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify mechanical issues and determine the root cause of problems using diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint issuesPerform routine maintenance tasks such as changing oil and filters, checking and replacing fluids, inspecting belts and hoses to ensure vehicles operate efficiently and safelyRepairing or replacing faulty parts that can include rebuilding engines, replacing fuel injectors, repairing electrical systems and fixing worn-out componentsTesting equipment to ensure what has been repaired functions properly and also troubleshooting issues that arise during testing, making adjustments as neededKeep detailed records of repairs, maintenance tasks and parts used to help track the history of each vehicle or piece of equipment ensuring that maintenance is performed on scheduleFollow safety protocols using personal protective equipment and adhering to safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplaceKnowledgeable with advances in technology, tools and techniques related to diesel engines and equipmentMaintenance Mechanic BenefitsCompetitive Pay Based on ExpPaid Time OffHealth, Dental and Vision PlansA 401(k) plan after 1yrA fully paid life insurance policy with additional buy up possibleQuarterly BonusesContinued education through various online programsMaintenance Mechanic QualificationsMust be 18yrs or olderCDL Class B or willing to acquire oneWorking Coach bus experience a plusAbility to pass a DOT physicalSuccessful completion of background checkWilling to work varied schedules including weekends and holidaysAble to work autonomously and in a team environmentAt least 2yrs experience on diesel engines requiredWorking knowledge of the following systems is preferred: HVAC, engine (Cummins/Detroit), transmission, air brake systems, steering/suspension and electricalDiagnostic ability both electrical and mechanicalProvide your own toolsMust have dependable transportationMust be able to lift up to 50lbs on occasionDesire to learn and grow with the companyAbout My Ride to WorkMy Ride to Work is a complete transportation solution provider leveraging workforce management strategies, technology and data analytics.
