Job Description Job Description Machine Assembler II | Ogden, UT Nexeo HR has partnered with a leading manufacturing company in Ogden, UT to hire an experienced Machine Assembler II / Electro-Mechanical Technician. This role supports automated production equipment and requires a strong mechanical and electrical background. If you enjoy building machines from blueprints, troubleshooting equipment, and working hands-on with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, this is a great opportunity with long-term growth potential. Responsibilities Assemble and build machines and production equipment from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams Assemble components including cables, tubing, wiring, and mechanical assemblies Build and wire electrical control panels Operate, monitor, and adjust automated or semi-automated equipment Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic issues Perform minor maintenance and support preventative maintenance activities Inspect assemblies and finished equipment to ensure quality and functionality Record production data and maintain documentation as required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S standards) Train or assist lower-level assemblers when needed Follow all safety requirements and company policies Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in machine assembly, maintenance, or technician roles Strong understanding of mechanical machines and assembly processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and diagrams Electrical background strongly preferred Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems Basic PLC knowledge preferred Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25–50 lbs Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills Basic computer proficiency Must be willing to work overtime and travel as needed Clean background and drug screen required Must pass a machine assembly assessment with an 80% or higher score Pay $20.00 – $30.00 per hour Schedule Full Time | Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM Nexeo Benefits •Medical, Dental, Vision, Limited Life, Short-Term Disability. •Refer a Friend Bonus | Other Financial Incentives (Bonuses). •Weekly Pay | Direct Deposit | Rapid Pay Card. •Hassle-Free Job Search: A Nexeo Recruiter is always available to assist you.
