General Position OverviewWe are looking for motivated, technically proficient and customer focused individuals who want to join our team as an Operations Manager. In this role, you work closely with the front line associates within the Sortation Center to ensure packages are grouped together accurately and routed to the correct location. The focus of the position is motivating, mentoring and monitoring the team during the daily work flows. The Operations Manager ensures front line associates have all of the tools necessary to successfully complete all assigned tasks. You will engage the teams during shifts to ensure the highest levels of safety and quality are being maintained while work is performed at the most efficient levels are core functions for this position. This position is ideal for an organized self-starter looking to start a career within the fast growing e-commerce industry. Key Responsibilities Include:* Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance regulations to ensure a safe work environment.* Develop and lead a team of up to 50 associates.* Communicate policies and changes in procedures to associates as needed.* Manage and support associate recognition programs, developing an esprit de corps amongst the associates to drive ever increasing levels of quality.* Provide corrective action for associates as needed to continually improve quality of results.* Develop performance goals and defect objectives to ensure customer needs are met with a high degree of accuracy.* Work in an environment subject to variable temperatures and weather.* Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts).* Ability to travel if needed between CloudSort locations.Basic Qualifications:* High school Diploma with advanced education or accreditation* Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts* 3+ years of direct management experience for employees and their performance* Experience with Google G Suite* Ability to stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, as well as climb and descend stairs* Ability to lift/carry items weighing up to 50lbsPreferred Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree or advanced accreditation in a logistics discipline* Adept at analyzing data to to form actionable plans to drive results* Ability to to motivate a team of associates in a dead-line driven environment* Ability to deep dive data to provide workable business solution to limit defects* Strong communication skills, both written and verbalAbout CloudSortWe help retailers and carriers elevate residential shipping to a strategic advantage.
