Job Description:

The Hilton Salt Lake City Center is a high energy and modern hotel located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. The hotel is steps from the Salt Palace Convention Center and adjacent to the dining, nightlife, arts, and cultural scene. Guests are offered plenty of conveniences for their stay, including award-winning Spencer's for Steaks & Chops, indoor pool and hot tub, fitness center, 499 guest rooms and suites, and 24,000 sq. ft. of event space.

The Hotel is looking to add an Executive Meeting Manager to their team to sell multiple markets with guest rooms fewer than 50 on peak night with meeting and event space. This is a great entry-level position for someone that is eager, passionate, and driven to succeed within the hospitality industry!


Local Candidate

Sales experience

Excellent Communication skills

Knowledge of Contracting and BEO Management preferred

Hotel Industry experience preferred

Delphi FDC knowledge preferred

What Will I Be Doing?

As an executive meetings manager for the Hilton Salt Lake City Center you will be responsible for 10-50 guest rooms on peak, selling and servicing multiple markets (SMERF, Corporate, and Association primarily).

- Respond to sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc. Utilize discretion and authority to negotiate contracts, and commit company with customers and establish agreements with vendors.
- Initiate new sales, prospects, and qualifies leads.
- Write proposals and/or contracts to advise prospective groups for meeting space, space and rate availability for group accommodations (10-50 guest rooms) for moderately smaller meetings. Develop and quote prices for same.
- Attend daily stand-up meeting, monthly sales departmental meeting, and other scheduled meetings to support business operations.
- Conduct site inspections and property tours with potential customers, visiting guest rooms, meeting space and banquet facilities, as well as other hotel facilities.
- Partner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts.
