The Ivory Boyer Real Estate Center (IBREC) at the David Eccles School of Business is seeking an Associate Director to help us take the Center to the next level. University of Utah Job ID# PRN28093B 01688 - IVORY BOYER REAL ESTATE CENTER COMPENSATION: 39300 to 72700 WORK SCHEDULE: Full Time; Some work-from-home (WFH) possible for the right candidate. RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate IBREC activities, events, board communications and financial objectives consistent with the University---s goals and objectives. Manage IBREC budgets, estimate budgetary requirements for special projects. Oversee purchases and inventory. Prepare, coordinate, and implement all arrangements for IBREC events and student experiences. Assist in setting IBREC short- and long-term goals as well as implement procedures to meet these goals. Facilitate collaborative relationships with the Utah real estate community and other institutions. Serve as part of the Center management team. Provide clerical support as needed to the IBREC Executive Director and Academic Director including scheduling appointments, participating in board meetings, transcribing minutes, writing and sending newsletters, responding to phone calls and emails, booking travel, expense reporting, and processing. Arrange hotels, meeting space, and transportation for student trips. Arrange logistics for all events and provide administrative support, including preparation and dissemination of informational materials and communications regarding the event. This may include, but not limited to; audiovisual usage, catering, security, supplies, transportation/parking, and guest services. Work Environment and Level of Frequency typically required Nearly Continuously: Office environment. Physical Requirements and Level of Frequency that may be required Nearly Continuously: Sitting, hearing, listening, talking. Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking. Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor---s degree in Business or Public Administration, a related area, or equivalency required; plus six years of progressively more responsible management experience; and demonstrated leadership, human relations and effective communication skills also required. PREFERENCES: Master---s degree in Business Administration or related area preferred.
