Position Overview:Our client is a leader in bioengineering. Every product they make is done with Sustainability in mind.We are looking to hire a highly motivated Nutrition Account Manager to grow our product offerings in ketogenic supplements and healthy food products. The position will be responsible for working with existing customers to support their market growth as well as unearthing new opportunities to grow the portfolio. The candidate needs to be versatile and agile as this is a high growth opportunity with limited existing support infrastructure. An ability to think on your feet, view mistakes as learning opportunities, and drive results will be key features for success.
Job Requirements: --- Primary responsibility for meeting volume and revenue targets for ketogenic ingredients within the food and nutrition sectors.--- Establish and manage key accounts and unearthing future product development opportunities--- Participate in conferences and industry events by delivering presentations, meeting with select accounts, giving interviews that enhance the reach and recognition for our products.
Responsibilities: --- Drive sales volume for a naturally sourced, sustainably produced ingredient to the food and nutrition industries--- Maintain stewardship of our company branding in customer applications--- Gather feedback on promotional traction and price position for the team to consider--- Participate in industry/trade organizations with a nutrition and wellness focus--- Support business planning by providing input on price and volume forecasts, market trends and competitor activity--- Advance development opportunities with global brands with a target of launching product opportunities in the medium term based on our ingredients--- Sales analysis with eye to volume growth and business value
Minimum Education and Experience: 1. Education a. Bachelor's degree required. Chemical engineering, biology, chemistry, etc. or relevant technical degree preferred.
2. Experience a. 5+ years of relevant experience with key accounts in nutritional supplementsb. Knowledge of nutrition and/or bio-products; or equivalent combination of education/experience. Knowledge of ketogenic diet and supplement space strongly preferred.c. General valuation analysis, financial modeling, and other business analysis methods to facilitate deal opportunitiesd. Proven sales ability and track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales objectivese. Deep market knowledge in the nutrition and food categories, along with a good understanding of category growth opportunities, innovation opportunities, etc.
