This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel/Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the Sentinel program here. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.What you will get to do:This Systems Engineering Manager 2 will be part of the Nuclear Surety team and responsible functional management of Huntsville Nuclear Surety team members, while contributing technically to Nuclear Surety tasks. Candidate must be able to effectively communicate complex technical issues and solutions. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.#GBSDsystemsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors in Science in a STEM field and at least 8 years of related systems engineering experience or a Master's Degree and 6 years of experienceActive Secret clearance adjudicated within the last 5 years with the ability to obtain SAP.1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule5 years of experience providing technical and/or programmatic leadership of a teamPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent effortsBachelor's degree in electrical or software disciplineActive DOD Top Secret ClearanceExperience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)Demonstrated Functional Management experienceDemonstrated experience identifying and defining staffing requirementsDemonstrated experience in development of Basis of Estimates (BOEs)Experience working with Nuclear Surety Requirements and the Nuclear Certification process (e.g. AFI 63-125, AFMAN 91-118/91-119/31-108, DODM 5210.41, AFI 91-107)Experience with risk management (identification and development of risks) and driving risk mitigations to closurePrior experience and working knowledge of the GBSD program"Salary Range: $123,900 USD - $185,900 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
