We are looking for a Marketing Analytics leader to work directly
with the Chief Risk and Analytics Officer (CRAO) to drive growth
with analytical rigor. This is a highly visible role that is the
core of enabling marketing innovation and technology. In this role,
you will champion Snaps next stages of growth. You will establish
and lead a high performing team of analysts
The Job
The Sr Director Marketing Analytics manages enterprise-level
customer and marketing analytics. This role is generally
characterized by moderately high levels of organizational scope,
technical complexity, relational complexity, and a high level of
independent decision making. This position will provide
customer-centric thought leadership and on-going stewardship for
the enterprise in support of the Revenue and Marketing teams.
The successful candidate will have experience in developing the
technical infrastructure needs for the team and will partner with
product and technology to bring that roadmap to life. This will
include developing data models and data cleansing needs for the
organizations customer data and related data to provide
insights.
As a Sr. Director you will be responsible for leading the efforts
in developing and applying advanced analytics methodologies to our
existing datasets to unlock insights for the organization and
creating insights into how the customers interact with Snap across
channels. Expertise in both online and offline analytic channels
and techniques are required. Additionally, this role is responsible
for developing KPIs to measure customer performance and identify
opportunities and celebrate successes.
In this role, you will also partner with different departments and
vendors to acquire new data sources as needed to answer business
questions. With an extensive range of data, they will serve as a
resource for Marketing and the Revenue leadership teams to share,
analyze, and evaluate data in support of decision-making across the
organization.
Finally, the successful candidate will design and build measurement
plans to demonstrate impact of different tactics, be responsible
for the testing and learning process for the enterprise to
ultimately increase the LTV of our customer base.
Support other business needs as needed.
Skills/Knowledge
Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to analyze data
to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to tell a story, drive
improvement of results and solutions.
Highly numerate with ability to use and evaluate data to identify
opportunities, drive powerful customer experiences and impactful
communications plans.
Highly creative and organized approach to work, balancing idea
generation with actionable execution.
Record of experience in the design, implementation, measurement and
management of customer experience + LIFECYCLE programs
preferred.
Must possess a deep working knowledge of the application of
enabling technologies (marcom stack) for customer experience /
LIFECYCLE / digital media / CDP etc.
Able to operate comfortably at the strategic level but also must be
hands-on when required to ensure effective execution of all
programs, particularly at the early stage.
Extensive experience in statistics, structured / unstructured data
analysis & predictive modelling.
Experience with enterprise data visualization/dashboard tools (e.g.
Tableau, Rconnect, DOMO, Sisense)
Experience building and leading high-performing teams
Commitment to working with shared leadership and in
cross-functional teams
Experience creating and delivering executive presentations on
complex subjects
Ability to juggle multiple projects effectively & strong bias for
action and a getting things done attitude.
Experience in statistical analysis & managing specialized analytics
teams
Experience working with relational databases. SQL & Python are
needed
You
10+ years of progressive experience and responsibility in a
consumer driven organization, preferably in a fast paced,
competitive, multi-channel business.
10+ years demonstrated experience in analytics or execution of
multi-channel marketing (LIFECYCLE, Web, Digital, Social)
10+ years of managing / working with multiple and diverse data sets
for analytics
10+ years in advanced analytics / modeling techniques for marketing
and business optimization
5-7 years managing direct reports (must have experience managing
FTE preferred)
5 + years of professional experience in strategic planning and
consumer marketing, relationship marketing, LIFECYCLE and digital
marketing (SEM/SEO, email, targeted display, social).
5+ years analyzing media, web/digital, direct marketing, promotions
and strategic initiative efforts across the company
