Job DescriptionGeneral Purpose:The Kitchen Managers responsibilities include supervising the food prep and cooking, maintaining a fully-stocked kitchen inventory, hiring new staff, streamlining kitchen processes, creating schedules, training staff, developing food menus, and complying with safety and cleanliness standards.Supervision:The Kitchen Manager reports directly to the Director of Golf (DG) and provides direction to seasonal or part-time employees under the direct guidelines established periodically by the DG. Essential Functions:

  • Supervise and manage the grill operations.
  • Manage daily breakfast, lunch and dinner times.
  • Manage and schedule daily staff.
  • Inventory management and ordering.
  • Track kitchen finances and revenue.
  • Provide procedures and food recipes.
  • Regular cleaning and maintenance of kitchen and grill seating areas.Experience Required:Previous kitchen and management experience preferred. Strong culinary knowledge. Interpersonal and customer service skills. High attention to detail and the ability to multitask.Hiring Wage:Wage and Incentives based on qualifications and experience. This is a seasonal position that will genrally be during the golfing season (March thru October).
