Paid Search ManagerSalt Lake City, Utah/Remote MRM is looking
for a Paid Search Manager to develop, execute, and optimize
high-performing and innovative paid search campaigns for some of
the world's most recognizable global brands. The ideal candidate
will balance an intricate understanding of the role of search in
customers' buyer journeys with tactical platform expertise and
operational excellence. Leveraging their subject matter expertise
and best-practice engagement strategies, this individual will work
alongside a team of digital marketing and advertising professionals
and be responsible for campaign design, setup, day-to-day program
management, contributing to the development of performance
insights, and optimizing campaigns to achieve business targets.The
ideal candidate is a thought leader, self-starter, and strong
communicator with a bias for action and accountability. She/he can
demonstrate a proficiency in the use of data both in the activation
of strategies as well as to make decisions. Responsibilities
- Research-based strategic planning and design of large-scale
enterprise paid search campaigns
- In-platform setup, execution, and optimization of campaigns
across search engines including Google and Bing inclusive of bid
management, budget management, and program expansion
- Serve as subject matter expert on and liaison to the major
search networks
- Obsess over results, specifically the consistent iteration
necessary to discover the right combination of platforms,
targeting, keywords, copy, and landing pages that will maximize the
achievement of client business targets.
- Partner with the analytics team on learning agendas, testing,
optimizing, and disseminating insights.
- Build relationships with integrated media team members and
media partners to educate and collaborate on impactful
opportunities on search engines.
- Write and test search ad copy.Required Experience --- 5-7 years
of experience in search engine marketing-emphasis on large
enterprise --- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications,
business, statistics, or related field --- Experience managing
large-scale paid search campaigns across the major platforms
including Google and Bing. --- Experience with implementation and
management of tagging and tracking code generation --- Strong
understanding of major search engine platform algorithms, ad
products, and optimization levers --- A relentless desire to
monitor and optimize to performance objectives --- Strong
presentation skills including storytelling and executive presence
--- Ability to make sense of data and manipulate it via tools like
Excel --- Self-starter with drive to succeed in a quickly changing
business environment --- Comfortable with ambiguity and proven
