Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Product Support Operational Control Manager 2. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here . Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

What you will get to do:

  • Support Segment Architecture Manager: Lead the Support Segment Requirements, Architecture and Verification organization within Support Segment, reporting to the Support SE Lead.
  • Responsible for managing a team of 3 MBSE engineers to develop the decomposition of functional allocation of product support equipment.
  • Lead for architecture and decomposition/flowdown to all Support Elements and lower CIs.
  • Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering approach in all activities.
  • Approver of all Support Element SE MBSE products presented at design reviews and ultimate approver of Support Element Modeling artifacts

    This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelors in Science in a STEM field and at least 6 years of related engineering experience, Master's degree and 4 years.
    • Active Secret clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years with the ability to obtain SAP.
    • At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedulePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
      • Very strong understanding of SE process, including SE experience across multiple levels of integration
      • TS clearance
      • ICBM missile experience
      • Weapon System Support equipment requirements and verification or modelling and simulation
      • Technical depth in MBSE"

        Salary Range: $123,900 USD - $185,900 USD

        Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
