Solutions, Strategic Systems, Information Services (IS) team. The
selected applicant will join the IS organization as we seek to
deliver world-class capabilities for our Air Force clients and
their associated contractors while driving productivity and
innovation. This position will manage a team of Service Desk
Professionals, who provide a full service experience to customers
across multiple programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain high customer satisfaction by providing quality
solutions
- Interface with government customers, attend meetings, ensure that
requirements are established and fulfilled
- Manage staff, including recruiting/hiring, training, work
assignment/scheduling, coaching and counseling employees
- Ensure best practices are followed. Identify and implement system
and process improvements
- Track internal and external metrics
- Learn various IT systems and applications and assist in personnel
development
- Analyze and document processes and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
This position requires an active final Secret clearance upon hire
date. The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Top
Secret clearance. An active Top Secret clearance is preferred.
#ASFS Required Education, Experience, & Skills Required
education:
BA/BS degree with 7+ years of related experience, or
MS degree with 5+ years of related experience
The successful applicant will display the following

- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Committed to results and success in accomplishing goals
- A fast learner with an ability to quickly learn different
technologies
- Experience with troubleshooting, identifying and solving
issues
- Ability to work after hours and weekends when required
- Current Security+ or other DoD 8570 - IAT Level II certification
or within 6 months of hire
This position requires an active final Secret clearance upon hire

preferred.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Prior
experience managing Service Desk/Help Desk teams that provide tier
1 support for Windows Servers, Enterprise Applications, Cloud
applications, and Systems Administration best practices
- Previous success in developing standards, process improvement,
managing processes, managing staff
- Working knowledge of various hardware platforms and software
applications
- Ability to review, analyze, document, and explain technical
systems and data
- Experience or exposure to JIRA, Cloud deployments, and
