Job SummaryAssociate Director reports to the Director of Stadium &
Arena Event Services and Director of Auxiliary Services Finance,
who reports to the Assistant Vice President for Auxiliary Services.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership,
direction, management, and vision for financial operations at
Rice-Eccles Stadium and the Jon M. Huntsman Center.The position
develops and implements policies, programs and financial objectives
for assigned departments in relation to the accounting and finance
function, including (but not limited to) general accounting,
payroll, cost accounting and budget formulation. Participates in
preparing department budget and in setting department goals. Ensure
continuity and quality customer service between departments and
community.
Responsibilities
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business or Public
Administration, a related area, or equivalency required; plus six
years of progressively more responsible management experience; and
demonstrated leadership, human relations and effective
communication skills also required. Master's degree in Business
Administration or related area preferred. This position is not
responsible for providing patient care. Applicants must demonstrate
the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job
as outlined in the position description.
PreferencesA CPA and/or Master's degree in Business Administration
or related area is greatly preferred. Candidate must have strong
Excel skills.
