Biomerics.Biomerics Advanced Medical Tubing (AMT). The division was
formed by spinning out and combining the medical materials value
stream (SLC), the extrusion component value stream (Brooklyn Park),
and the Prolix tube value stream (CR). The AMT division will be
tasked with becoming a leading material and extrusion component
provider to the interventional catheter market, reaching $100
million in revenue by 2026. AMT products will include: medical
urethanes, engineered compounds, complex extrusions, heat shrink,
and fluorinated extrusions.
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced, hands-on,
detail-oriented, President to join our growing team! In this
position, you will play a key role in the overall success of our
organization by planning, managing, and monitoring AMT functions.
You will set the direction and lead all efforts of the company. You
will be responsible for overseeing: Engineering Management, AMT
Site Management, Facilities Management, Product and Technology
Development, Planning and Budgeting, Business Development, Mergers,
and Acquisitions Strategy, Sales and Marketing, Profit and Loss
Management, and other duties and responsibilities determined by the
CEO.Requirements:
Responsibilities:
- Profitability: drive the profitability of operations including
manufacturing, financing, and marketing of assigned products.
Ensure that each department has all of the necessary resources to
operate efficiently.
- Board Meetings: Lead all board meetings on behalf of AMT.
- Engineering Management: manage the engineering and development
of the Division and its products.
- AMT Site Management: implement and oversee the manufacturing
processes for manufacturing of the Division's products.
- Facilities Management: oversee the operation and management of
the facilities used by the Division.
- Product and Technology Development: oversee and direct the
Division's product and technology development efforts and ensuring
a clear vision is outlined and executed.
- Planning and Budgeting: prepare or oversee the preparation of a
Division annual budget, and present the same to the CEO for
approval.
- Business Development: Work to create long-term value through
customers, markets, and relationships.
- M&A Strategy: identify opportunities for strategic Mergers
and Acquisitions.
- Sales and Marketing: oversee efforts for sales and marketing,
attracting and retaining valuable customers for Biomerics.
- Profit and Loss Management: oversee the systems for the
Division and monitoring financial controls to monitor and manage
the finances of the division.
- Miscellaneous: perform other duties and responsibilities as
determined and directed by the Company's CEO
- Minimum 10+ years of strong leadership experience in a medical
device manufacturing environment (Required).
- Must have OEM experience in Medical Device Manufacturing
Industry (Required).
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning and operational
analysis with experience overseeing a management team.
- Skilled in organizational development, personnel management,
budget and resource development, strategic planning, and
execution.
- Proven leader with experience in driving revenue and growth in
the medical device industry.
- Experience working in both large structured and small
entrepreneurial medical device organizations.
- Capable of working effectively in both environments and possess
the flexibility in reacting to new situations and adaptability for
working in a new environment.
- Experience and general knowledge of the medical device
community and the ability to recognize unmet needs in the medical
device field and to bring those needs into business opportunities
for the company.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change
management.
- Skill in examining and re-engineering medical device sales,
operations, and procedures.
- Experience in formulating policy, and developing and
implementing new strategies and procedures.
- Knowledge of public relations principles and practices.
- Knowledge of communication and public relation techniques.
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
- Ability to identify and secure funding and revenue
sources.
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal
skills and the ability to interface effectively with all
departments
- Ability to motivate all teams and simultaneously manage several
projects.
- Comfortable with the FDA and international regulatory
processes
- A proven presence that commands the respect and trust of
customers, vendors, and employees at all levels in the
organization
- Self-starter; a "hands-on" individual who enjoys the challenge
and is dedicated to getting the job done with minimal support and
direction
- Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel and
may require frequent weekend and evening work as well as require
frequent overnight travel
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills, with an
ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
- Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and
commitment to the company mission
- Flexible and able to multi-task; work within an ambiguous,
fast-moving environment, demonstrate resourcefulness in setting
