-Job Overview (What You'll Do):Cotopaxi is seeking a consumer-focused, passionate and enthusiastic eCommerce Marketplace and Resale Manager who will be responsible for leading Cotopaxi's third-party platform marketplaces and its resale initiative. In this role, the Marketplace and Resale manager will lead all day-to-day activities related to our marketplace and resale businesses, influencing business decision making, improving the customer experience, and increasing revenue through existing and potential future marketplace partners. They will partner with brand marketing, customer service, growth marketing, demand planning and eCommerce merchandising on go-to-market strategies, in-season sell-through optimization initiatives and on-site merchandising strategies designed to deliver revenue and profit goals for each business. They will also ensure the effective use of catalog management systems and other tools to manage the operational responsibilities of our marketplace and resale businesses; and, will lead issue identification and resolution related to item set up, brand management, inventory, customer service and fulfillment.As eCommerce Marketplaces and Resale Manager, you'll collaborate with a team and cross-functional partners on how to best execute stories and experiences across marketplace platforms through an understanding of latest tools, features, and capabilities. You will use data and customer insights to inform the ongoing optimization of our marketplace and resale experiences. You will craft, hone and advocate for your vision for an engaging, purposeful and differentiated Cotopaxi experience. -As this person will spearhead the development and launch of Cotopaxi's first directly-managed Amazon storefront, they will need to have 5+ years of experience, specifically working with Amazon, and an in-depth understanding of marketplace management tools. This person will need to be a self-starter that is able to work independently and also cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders. Ideally, this person is also someone who understands the importance of using business to positively impact our society, community and environment.
