Job Description:
Our sales approach begins by identifying customer demands before
they become challenges. We are committed to delivering customer
success through our comprehensive expertise in software and
technology.
Working from a home office you will drive sales through authorized
Honeywell contractors and distributors in Colorado, Texas and Utah.
You will foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular customer
contact and managing customer expectations. You will develop
customer relationships through attending trade shows, seminars, and
similar events. You will build demand for the Honeywell product
through technical presentations, seminars and workshops delivered
to contractors, engineering consultants and owners. You will
maintain and provide reports and opportunity status using our
customer relationship management system. You will provide
competitive intelligence and market trends. You will provide
forecast/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning
(SIOP).
- Drive business growth by discovering new opportunities, clients,
and customers
- Deliver value by leveraging existing relationships and forging
new strategic relationships
- Grow your knowledge of Honeywell products in a team-based culture
focused on innovation and customer satisfaction
YOU MUST HAVE
- Engineering/Technical degree and 2 years of sales experience
(mechanical equipment, controls experience) or bachelor's degree
with 4 years of sales experience (mechanical equipment or controls
experience) or 8 years of sales experience (mechanical equipment or
controls experience)
- Valid driver's license
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree
- Computer Literate - Office Suite
- Experience in a HVAC Controls Sales role
- Experience with Sales Force application
- Prior experience selling to Mechanical Contractors and Consulting
Engineers
- Prior experience selling to owners and end users
- Excellent team interaction and communication skills
- An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
- Significant experience in selling commercial controls products
and HVAC applications
- Understanding of the Honeywell value proposition as well as the
competitive landscape
